Rental Policies and Procedures

PROOF OF INSURANCE

Proof of insurance is required on all rentals. A standard insurance certificate listing David Mutchler as "Additional Insured" regarding liability coverage and "Loss Payee" regarding property coverage in the amount of $300,000.00 per camera package, valid for dates starting from pick-up to drop-off (certificate must specify for "rented/leased equipment.) must be submitted and approved prior to checkout and pickup of rental. If you do not have equipment insurance, we can assist you in contacting the appropriate parties to acquire such insurance coverage.


Please be sure that your personal equipment is covered under an insurance policy. David Mutchler / Invision Productions will not accept responsibility for non-owned equipment.

All rentals are subject to a security deposit for the amount of the insurance deductible (or for the equipment's replacement value, whichever value is lower.)

David / Invision must receive advance notice of any rentals that will be used outside of the US.

RESERVATIONS & CHECKOUT


Here are a few general pointers to make your equipment reservation with Invision Productions run smoothly. Please read the entire Rental Agreement below as you will need to complete and sign it at the time of pick-up. 


• Please reserve your equipment well in advance to ensure availability. We require that the equipment you need to rent be reserved by Email ahead of time. We recommend booking early to insure your rental item will be available for the desired date(s). In the event we do not have the equipment you requested we will try to make a substitution with the next closest item. If the substituted item has a higher rental rate we will absorb the difference, within reason. We have the final say in what determines 'with-in reason'.


• All equipment is rented on a first-come, first-served basis. No equipment will be held unless it is paid for in advance. A quote or estimate does NOT constitute a reservation until it is paid for in full.


• A valid driver's license, passport or state issued ID is required at time of pickup, no exceptions.


• Call us if you need to cancel a reservation and then follow up with an email so we have a record of your cancellation. There is a $500.00 fee for cancelations and rentals are subject to the complete rental fee if canceled less than 72 business hours in advance unless we can re-book the items. It affects other renters when you cancel at the last minute.


• We are not responsible or liable for any losses incurred due to any failure of the rented equipment or any consequential losses, based on the rental transaction. All rates are subject to change without notice. All rentals are subject to availability of the equipment.


• Payment in full is required at the time of placing your reservation or the equipment is not secured. If you need to keep the rental equipment longer than the paid rental period, you must call to check availability. Please do not assume it's available as that is not fair to the next individual in line. Of course we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

PAYMENT TERMS

Any and all equipment returned after 11:00 AM on the expected day of return will be charged for that day at the standard daily rental rate.

We accept the following methods of payment for all rental charges:

Cash

Check – Checks must be made out to David Mutchler

Credit Cards –  A surcharge of 2.75% will be added for all credit card charges.


A security deposit in the amount of the insurance deductible must be provided.


All security deposits will be returned by mail after all equipment has been returned and fully checked for function by one of our technicians.


Any lost and/or damaged equipment will be charged accordingly.


Full payment of rental is due prior to checkout date.
